The building was a spray shop for buses. Godskitchen bought it in 2000 and opened the club CODE. CODE closed in June 2003 for a refit and reopened in late September 2003 as AIR, with three rooms: the Oxygen Arena, the Nitrogen Room and the Carbon Lounge.
